Top-Down RPG Starter is a fully open-source template for building top-down RPGs in Godot 4. It ships with a tile-based overworld, screen transitions, a branching dialogue system, an inventory with drag-and-drop, save/load functionality, and an NPC scheduling system. Designed to be modular so you can swap out or extend any system without touching the others.
